You must have the following to register your business with the System for Award Management
For US-based companies (includes but is not limited to this list):
- TIN or Taxpayer Identification Number
- Taxpayer name for the TIN – must match IRS documents
- Legal Name of Company – must match Dun & Bradstreet records
- Physical address
- Bank routing number, account number, and account type for EFT
International companies:
- Legal name of your organization
- Physical address
- EIN Number
- The organization’s NATO Commercial and Government Entity (NCAGE) Code (which you can get for FREE here)
You will also need to go through an IRS and DLA validation.
