      What is a DBE certification?

      DBE Stands for Disadvantaged Business Enterprise

      This certification does not make you eligible for set-aside contracts but does give you favor over your competitors. You will be included in the DBE database which is strongly encouraged to be used to identify subcontractors. The business must be owned by a socially and economically disadvantaged individual (minority).
