Being registered in the SAM registry is required to be paid by the Government.

Being registered with SAM allows your company the opportunity to certify your small business as being owned by a veteran, woman, minority or in a HUBZone.
3. Easily market your business to contracting officers and prime contacts
Both prime contractors and contracting officers will only see you as a viable option if you are registered with SAM.
